Publisher's Summary

A selection of 1960s sketches from "Round the Horne" featuring the outrageously camp couple, Julian and Sandy. Oozing with innuendo and double-entendre, they engage on a variety of entrepreneurial endeavours, from Guided Tripettes to the Bona Guest House, Bogmouth.

Bona indeed!

There are just two collection of julian and sandy material available on audible - both absolutely outstanding. Better not to try to listen to a whole batch in one go because the structure - and indeed the jokes! - are quite similar ... but if you're happy to dip into it and get a great 6 minute slice of gay history whenever you want, it'll keep you going for weeks.

Heavenly humour.

The amount of double entendres squeezed into each episode, in the days when male homosexuality was still illegal in the UK, is jaw dropping. About as funny as anything ever on the radio, imho. Be aware that this is in English and Polari.

Good Times

It just takes me back to listening to the radio after lunch at the weekends. Things just seamed much simpler. It made me smile.
