Publisher's summary

It's just over a week until Sam will be Binding with Jared, and the only thing she wants is to spend that time relaxing and preparing for the ceremony. Unfortunately, she seems to be asking too much of fate, because suddenly she's lumbered with a number of distractions that have the potential to postpone, or even cancel, the Binding.

There's a guarded fiance to crack, a complicated assignment to deal with, Jared's ex to alienate, and a bunch of snobbish Master Vampires to win over - or offend, whichever. On the upside, things couldn't possibly be any worse, could they? Actually, yes they could.

Due to a cruel twist of fate, something strange is happening to Sam - something that is changing her in ways she doesn't like or understand. With the help of Jared and those closest to her, she has to not only handle the threats to the Binding Ceremony, but find a way to fix what has been done to her - and fast.

The best narrators

I enjoyed the story though maybe not quite so much as the first book, but the narrators. They nailed the hero and heroine yet again.

even better than the first

I didn't think it was possible to be better than the first but it actually was! The detail of the story and all its intricate Parts along with the excellent narration astounds me

Male narrator not good

Great story and great female narrator.
For me the make narrator doesn't fit this series at all.

Loved It

The narrators did a good job. This second installment kept me highly entertained. Once again I enjoyed the characters and the storyline. Ms. Wright did a great job of moving things along so I was never bored and couldn't wait to see what happened next. I also loved the addition of Dexter.

Enjoyed it

I enjoy her books. However the only part about this audio book that is annoying is there is an error. The narrarator mentions around chapter 7 or 8. Then she goes back to reading the story. It is annoying. Why didn't your editors edit that out. Why did she even audio that in the book while she was narrating?

A pleasant surprise!

When listening to and reviewing the first book, in this series, I did not realize that book two and three also focused on the same couple as book one. I was excited about this because I felt that their story had been cut off abruptly; in book one. This book has just as much action, as the first book, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My only complaint is the same complaint as book one. The male narrator’s voices are so different than the female narrator, that I often get confused. It would have been better to do true Duet narration or to have the female narrator ( who seems more versatile) perform the entire book.
