Publisher's summary

A passionate fling.

In Switzerland, analyst Lissa Edwards and billionaire Julio Torres can't resist each other. Overwhelming chemistry makes them wonder if something more is possible, so when Julio is called away on urgent business, he promises to contact Lissa.

A shocking surprise.

Saddened when she never hears from Julio again, Lissa does her best to move on - until she learns she's pregnant. With triplets. Reaching Julio is no longer optional, but despite repeated attempts, she's unable to contact him to tell him he's a father.

A deepening mystery.

Julio can't forget the brilliant, fiery woman he met in Switzerland. Why has she never responded to any of his messages? When one of his business ventures needs Lissa's skills, Julio flies to New York, determined to press his case.

Neither one is prepared for what they discover. Can Lissa and Julio start over and build a life together, or is it too late?

good book.

I wish the narrator had better voices for each character. I really liked the story, but wish the father didn't miss out of the first months of the children lifes. Glad in the end it was a happy ending.

I enjoyed the audio book version better

Great job by the narrator! I love his tone, I enjoyed him switching between accents. In my opinion, he used this was very helpful when imaging each character, and development of their personality. I would purchase another book read by this narrator..

book/ story: I agree with the feedback from other readers: it appears that the story is incomplete, needs additional editing and need additional development of the characters.
For example: when describing how long Julio knew Lissa in professionally (prior to their personal relationship), the sentence is cut off... in my opinion, these area is incomplete. We need to understand how the two meet and connected before they ended up in bed together.

Additionally, we don't really know what happened to when Julio confronted his assistant at the hotel? What happened to Tina, Mr. Ayers and Julio's assistant during Julio and Lissa presentation in Malian? They were all there, but??????? No explanation or development of that part of the story either for what was going on?

In addition to purchasing the Audio book, I also purchased the electronic book to see if I may have missed parts of the story that may have been developed, but discovered that the book has the same issues.

Regardless of my review, I would like to thank Ms. M. Caldwell, for taking the time to write the story. And I will be looking forward to reading Joan's story.

It's easy for readers to criticize the story but it takes courage to write one! Happy New Year to all.

So much damn drama!!!

I liked this story however the drama was something that I was completely over. Julio looked as though he was a man that did not know which way was up at times. The author kept stating that he is a powerful man and a smart man as well but he allowed his AA (Willow) to control every aspect of his life. I would assume as a man that knew what he wanted in life he would just take everything in his own hands when it came to Lissa. I cannot understand why he could not have found out what was happening to her on his own.

I do believe that a lot of the angst and the conflict would not have occurred if Julio would have just followed his gut and tried to get in contact with Lissa himself. But the again if there was no drama there would not be a story.

Other then that I did enjoy this story and I cannot wait to listen to Joan's story. I hope that it is good. I also thought the narrator was not the best. His voices threw me off but the story was engaging so I just ignored his voice and just followed the story. Having a bad narrator tends to make or break a story and he almost broke it for me.

Great Story

Mia Caldwell wrote a love story that is full of surprises. The suspense was perfect. I have listened at the gym, in the car & in bed. This is my third go round. I can't wait for the next one.

Love the story not the narrator

The narrator sounded like a computer no emotion and it effected the story. Good story line but another narrator.

Can not follow

Seven chapters in and it's hard to follow who is who. The narrator reading so fast, when he changes characters you are lost on whom is speaking to whom. Seven chapters in and where is the steamy romance.
