This was a bitter-sweet dual POV story of two separate acts of violence and murder, the mental anguish and guilt felt by the survivors, how they overcame it and how they fell in love during their journey. Xander had to forgive himself.. overcome his demons and accept that he deserved to live.. deserved to be happy.. deserved to love.. and deserved to be loved. Xander and Sam’s losses were heartbreaking and huge.. but, through chemistry, passion and powerful words, they finally got the forgiveness they needed to get their HEA. JSS has written about two sweet yet damaged characters whose powerful back-stories intertwine, unite them and reshape them into two strong survivors who completely understand each other.

Worth a credit? It’s hot in places, emotional in others, it’s got loveable multi-layered damaged characters, there’s romantic scenes, swoonworthy scenes, character growth, it’s very sweet in parts, it’s got all the previous Sinclairs and it’s well narrated too. All things I love love love.. so YES, IMO, this awesome listen is so worth a credit.

I absolutely love the Billionaire's series. J.S. Scott is an amazing writer and this book kept me interested from the beginning to the end. Her stories take you to a beautiful place and leave you blissfully lighthearted. If you add the talented Elizabeth Powers to the mix, you have a winner.

Let me start with admitting that I adore all book series! Each was so great and fun and light and heartwarming. This story has been such a disappointment... Sam and Xander story will not take your breath away. Like only epilogue where I found more about the others from Sinclair’s’ clan

another amazing book by j s Scott the Sinclair's my favourite family of them all you could feel both their struggles and them finding each other being fate of some kind. also amazingly read by audible I loved listening to it
