Rough listen

Unusual Way to Fall in Love

OMG 😲 I couldn't stop listening to this story 👍 it started out as a business proposition then Pierce kept going back 2,3,4, times for a (booty calls!! Need a new narrator
Enjoying the book, but really can not get past the narration. The lady reading the book has one monotone for all characters and it feels like my grandma is reading a love story to me. It is taking away from the story.

like listening to your grandma read a sex story
Okay for a romance novel. Bad performance. Basic writing, alright plot, the reader sucks. It sounds like an older lady and she doesn't use the greatest inflection or varied voice tones. She sounds bored and listening to her read the sex portions is gross.

Mediocre Reading!!!
I don't know if the narrator had to audition for this job, but those who hired her were just tone deaf. She didn't do a good job. She lacked enthusiasm, voice changes. If I hadn't heard her speaking from chapter to chapter I really would have not known what character was speaking. I was very disappointed.

The book was way too predictable. No real excitement. I also didn't care for the narrator, her voice sounded like a smoker's voice and sounded like she was reading to little kids.
