I wanted her...bad. Did it matter she was my dad’s secretary?

A Steamy Billionaire Romance Series

The world’s wealthiest people don’t get rich by accident. Whether by smart investment, sharp business intuition, or a combination of talent, grit and circumstance, billionaires have done something right. Or they had a whole lot of luck—a crap-load of it.

Tag is the son of a billionaire, who’s never had to work a day in his life. He has everything he’s ever wanted, that is, until one night during a party at his lake house when a chance encounter with a stunning beauty makes him realize that he wants more. There’s something about Melanie that he can’t get out of his mind, or his heart.

When his controlling and manipulative father suffers a heart attack, Tag is suddenly thrown into the formerly distant world of his father’s business. Much to Tag’s surprise, the CEO chair fits him like a glove, and it’s even sweeter once he realizes his father’s assistant is none other than the mystery woman he spent the night with. Melanie doesn’t want anyone to know about them, and that’s the only way she’ll continue to see him.

Will Tag be able to keep their love affair a secret?

How will he handle things when it comes time for his father to return? Will he give up his father’s throne?

Don’t get this book.

This was a terrible story, and the reader was really bad as well. The plot was ridiculous.

Terrible just terrible

The plot meandered and the narrator was awful. The female voices were shrill or overly sultry and male voices all sounded condescending. I never connected to the characters and there was no story to keep me interested in getting to know them. What a stinker! I don’t think I’ll try another book by this author or narrator.

Why all female narrator?

I don't understand why a woman is narrating this book when 70% is the male characters' POV and/or talking...why not have a male narration on this one? Strange...

Could have been better

The story is told from the main hero POV for the majority of the story yet the narrator is female. It probably would have been better with a male narrator.
Also OMG there are so many plot holes and continuity problems that i found myself going "wait, what?"

Unrelenting Nonsense

Tag is a spoiled rich kid with Daddy issues and no direction whatsoever. We he sees Melanie, his entire life changes, although it takes him about 100+ pages to find her again and get going. He and his loser friends are all messed, but with hearts of gold. This could have been just 1 long book but is instead, broken into 3. Very unrealistic, and I'm setting a low bar for "billionaire books." This is just no point to it.

Hmmm… :/

The story is ok, but the Mae West cadence the narrator uses regularly (especially for the male voice) makes it sound skeevy and slimy instead of the sexy version I think she is going for. It takes the story in a direction other than it was intended. It definitely isn’t going to have anyone wanting this for their next “book boyfriend” as they call it.
