"You're marrying him?" my best friend screeches. "Have you lost your mind?"

Griffin Ahearn is a billionaire CEO with an image problem. I'm a dance studio owner with eviction notices piling up.

His solution? A fake engagement.

Three months and six figures to play his culturally-connected girlfriend.
Easy, right?
Except Griffin isn't just wealthy.
He's infuriatingly genuine.
And the way he watches me dance?

It's turning this performance into something dangerously real.

Now board meetings blend with dance rehearsals, corporate galas hide tender moments, and walking away feels impossible.
Because falling for Manhattan's most eligible bachelor wasn't in our agreement.

But neither was finding someone who sees the real me beneath the spotlight.

Read on for: a sizzling BWWM fake dating romance where boardrooms and dance studios collide. This steamy story features a fierce Brooklyn dance studio owner, a CEO learning there's more to power than profit margins, and a partnership proving that the most authentic performances happen when the curtain falls. HEA guaranteed!

What we liked: The story was cute and moved at a good pace. We liked the heroine and hero. They worked well together.

What we disliked:
1. Constant reminders of how the heroine smelled. Same exact description every time. It got annoying after a while. Btw: shea butter doesn’t have a smell on its own. We make it, so…

2. The family member who caused all the trouble and was a racist tw*t had no consequences at the end! She almost cost them their entire company, legacy and love, but at the end she was chilling with the hero & heroine like “she’s being nice now so…”

We were like, WHAT?

3. We understand that it’s super expensive to make audiobooks, but the AI voice is horrific. Sounds like it’s reading a cookbook, even in the middle of sex. You also can’t tell who’s talking because the voice never changes. There’s nothing the author can do about that, but unfortunately it lent to a lack of enjoyment.

It was cute

Overall the story was good, but a bit repetitive. There were times when I thought I was listening to a previous chapter, had to pause the story and double check.

Monotonous

The virtual voice socks. The story would have been more interesting if it was with real people.

ok

This had the potential to be great and I truly love this story. However, it is so repetitive and annoying with the constant taking us to the edge just to yank us back. And how stupid is the sister. Not to mention Griffin have all this evidence yet he allowed all the lies.

Disappointing
