Not your normal romance

What happens in Vegas, doesn’t always stay in Vegas. This was different from the others but no less sexy, hot and romantic.

If you enjoy a beautiful love story then this book is for you. I enjoyed all the characters and the way the story flowed.

A very satisfying story!

Once again J.S. Scott has penned a very satisfying story with this new installment in the Sinclairs series. I‘m truly addicted to this author’s special blend of sweet, heartwarming romance and hotness, her stories somehow always managing to melt my heart and feeding my senses page after page. 

The Billionaire Takes All is about A-list actor Julian Sinclair who learned from past tragedy that sometimes there are no second chances in life and how important it is to seize the moment. And what Julian wants to seize most is the one woman who eludes him : a certain sassy, stubborn and sexy as hell red-head named Kristin. When the perfect opportunity arises in the form of his brother’s wedding, Julian « kidnaps » Kristin for a week-end away in Vegas.

Kristin works tirelessly two jobs. She’s a medical assistant and she’s running her parent’s bar to help and support them. For her, fun isn’t really an option. When Julian starts to pursues her endlessly, Kristen cannot resist his charms and irresistible sense of humour, even though she believes that they have nothing in common, and that unlike the other members of the Sinclair clan, a man like him will never settle down in a small town like Amesport. Little did she know then that there was so much more there beneath the surface when it came to Julian and that what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay there. And that sometimes you do something that will affect the rest of your life…

This was another enjoyable read by an author whose love stories continue to excite me and make me crave for more. I liked the fact that all the focus was on the growth of the emotional connection between the characters, two alike individuals unknowingly looking for the same things in life. Loved the chance to catchup with characters from the previous books as well.

If you're looking for a romance novel with lots of steam, smexy times, a lovable and devoted alpha male, and a strong, competent female lead with a spunky attitude, then this book is for you!

A sweet story

both Julian and Kristin have plenty of fire. Add a good dose of sass towards each other and you end up with a winning story. And what girl/woman on the planet would pass up the bathtub that is described in this book? Happy reading

BUTTERFLIES & SMILES THANKS TO A GIFTED AUTHOR

Julian Sinclair is a hot Hollywood star and he first kissed Medical Assistant Kristin in book 4 when he desperately tried to escape some frenzied fans.. and from then on he becomes fixated on 'getting to know' Kristin a whole lot more intimately. But these two are polar opposites and constantly verbally spar with each other - so how can Julian break through Kristin's prickly exterior she keeps just for him to see if there is something more between them. He thinks he'll get an opportunity at his brother's wedding to her best friend which is planned to take place in Las Vegas.. but Kristin is busy working trying to keep her parent's Bar/Grill afloat and isn't going. So what's a rich, sexy, charismatic Billionaire to do?.. well he pleads, teases, tempts.. and finally bodily removes Kristin from the Bar, tosses her into his waiting limousine and jets her off to Vegas.

At first Kristin doesn't believe Julian is serious as the two of them aren't friend and have been arguing and sniping at each other since their first meeting - so she just can't believe Julian's promises, pleas and pretty words. Julian has been mesmerized and tantalized by the stunning redheaded vixen since they were first introduced and it's now or never to tell her how he truly feels. Julian ignores Kristin's negativity, continually compliments her and bares his soul about his feelings.. but Kristin has a giant inferiority complex born from childhood bullying and doesn't think she's good enough for the super-rich talented famous Movie Star. However, for one wild night she's prepared to live the hilife, have a short taste of the dream and have hot sexy times with Julian.. but too much drink, mixed with sizzling chemistry, leads to a situation that neither of them predicted.. and that only one of them wants. So Julian asks for three months.. and a very reluctant Kristin doubts it'll last three days.

An easygoing light dual POV romance with smooth banter, sexy times and two very different people who manage to successfully fall in love with each other despite tempers, despite the odds, despite the heroine's anxieties and despite their difference. Julian is an open book when it comes to his emotions and feelings for Kristin.. he's loyal, attentive, kind, considerate, thoughtful, playful, passionate and totally in love with her. But, no matter what Julian says to her, how he acts around her and what he profoundly promises her, Kristin flately denies the possibility he could actually be telling the truth, that he could be happy with her in the long run and that he could be all hers.. until there's an eye-opening ultimatum. I did find Kristin's continual rejections, denials and doubts of Julian's heartfelt feelings quite frustrating as well as annoying - to the point where I wanted to give her a damn good shake. Good narration.

Worth a credit? Yes, a high quality romance.. but at $7.34 there was no need to use one as I just bought it and saved my credit for a higher priced book. It's been a great series so far and I can't wait to hear what emotional cocktail Ms. Scott has created for the unsociable and scarred Xander which should be coming next.

A story filled with love, patience & forgivenes

I will start with stating that I've read/ listened to every book in this series and they never disappoint. J.S. Scott knows romance and her themes of family and love are always present. The narration is very well done and it flows seamlessly. When I want a nice romance with not too much drama that it kills the action I always know this author will deliver.
