Fake dating to solve a problem

Both main characters in this story had problems they had run from in the past and now they are working together to restore a resort and fake dating to enhance the story. The plot was enjoyable with both having to decide what was really important to them. The author did a great job with the fountain scene because I could perfectly imagine it. The story was a good length for listening to over a couple afternoons. I found the pronunciation and cadence in the narration to be off-putting at times. The male voice was better than the female voice, but still not as good as a live reader.
