One of our few family favorites!

We love the books by Ms Carter, she writes beautiful Biblical stories and places us there in first person. My children have learned so much and remember the Bible stories much better this way. We love listening to Mr. Johnson’s voice telling the stories, feels like we are listening to a cherished family member tell stories! Don’t pass this one up, not just for Easter or Passover either! We listen over and over again!

What a wonderful book

I really enjoyed listening to this with my grandchildren. It was a wonderful way to share the meaning of Easter in these bible stories. The kids really seemed to enjoy it too. The narrator was excellent. I have listened to other books by Jennifer Carter and they were excellent too. I would absolutely recommend this book to all children.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Beautiful!

This short story recounts the events making up a portion of the ministry of Jesus Christ as seen through the eyes of a young boy. The story is beautifully done and appropriate for all ages, not just children.

No matter your religion, your beliefs on Christianity, or your opinions of spirituality, this book is a beautifully simple way to present some of the events contained in the New Testament in a generic and easily understandable way. While this was not inteded to be a exhaustive synopsis of the ministry, it serves as a clear example of the most important parts of what make up Christianity, its beliefs, and the personality and works of the Jesus of Nazareth.

The narration was well done and appropriate for this story.

I was given this book for free at my request in exchange for this honest and unbiased review. My thanks again go to the author for spending her time and talents in these efforts and I can wholeheartedly recommend the other titles she has published on audible.

A bit long for the level of reading/listening.

I received a review copy of this audiobook.

This combines several stories from the gospels into one narrative with a hypothetical boy who witnesses many of Jesus’ miracles. It does a decent job, but I feel the stories have been dumbed down more than appropriate for any child who could actually sit through the whole audiobook.
