Sarah Roberts has been betrayed, but she has no idea who orchestrates events behind the scenes. When a bus heading to a maximum-security facility is destroyed, leaving all thirteen prisoners dead, evidence leads the police to Sarah as a person of interest in the sabotage. Later, during a gang shooting at a motel, Sarah is witnessed at the scene. Now, the authorities have launched a nationwide manhunt for Sarah. Even her sister’s messages aren’t making sense, which makes Sarah wonder what’s happening to her sister and, by extension, to her.
She has nowhere to run and soon discovers that everything she’s doing is a mistake. The betrayal might just cost her everything. The end is near, and saving others becomes second on her list. Saving herself becomes the priority—the only way to survive.
