In a somber yet celebratory podcast we honor the life of my father, Eric Berman, who we lost last week. Last year, I produced an interview and testimonial retrospective on my father for the Wyoming Public Radio, KUWR, for their archive purposes. Eric was part of the the radio station's inaugural year in 1966 and speaks to the launch and growth of the station, the technology of the time, and his enjoyable--and often silly--experiences on air. My family will cherish these recordings and its an honor to share them with you. In grieving, these recordings help assuage the hurt and hearing my Dad's voice brings tears of joy. I will continue to see my Dad every time I look in the mirror, you all will see him every time I do something nice. Eric Berman 1944-2022.

Mike Biancaniello was born into music production and songwriting and recently had a number one hit with christian-artist, Switch. So naturally it made sense for Mike to produce a record for a Satan-worshipping heathen like Divided Heaven. In this convo, Mike and Jeff talk Valley Village vs. Studio City, the inner workings of publishing deals with major labels, songwriting vs. producing, middle-of-the-night-Voice-Memos, and much more. Jen Razavi is the lead singer of The Bombpops; the Los Angeles-based, FAT Wreck Chords band that worked their asses off the past few years to release their sophomore effort Death in Venice Beach only to have that momentum halted by the pandemic. But The Bombpops rebounded and then some. Fresh off tour with Bayside and about to embark on a tour with Dropkick Murphys, the 'pops are killing it.
