Search the Scriptures 24/7 with T.A. McMahon, the co-author of The Seduction of Christianity , engages guests in discussions that biblically evaluate popular trends and teachings that are influencing millions of Christians today. The objective is to encourage listeners to be like the Bereans of Acts:17:11. They listened to the Apostle Paul and were commended for searching the Scriptures daily to see if what he was preaching was true to God's Word. Programs are released each Friday. • What’s New about Calvinism? with Rob Congdon
    Feb 28 2026

Gary: Welcome to Search the Scriptures 24/7, a radio ministry of The Berean Call with T.A. McMahon. I’m Gary Carmichael. It’s great to have you along. In today’s program, Tom wraps up a two-part series with guest Rob Congdon as they address the topic: What’s New with Calvinism? Here’s TBC executive director Tom McMahon.

Tom: Thanks, Gary. My guest for our second part of this series is Robert Congdon. He’s the founder of Congdon Ministries International, CMI, and it’s a ministry, as we mentioned last week, that has sought to assist local churches, earlier in Great Britain and particularly in the US, but now he’s expanded the work to include other countries. And, as I mentioned, a primary focus of CMI is dealing with the defense of dispensationalism, premillennialism, and we talked last week about the importance of biblical hermeneutics – how anyone who reads the Bible and wants to know what God is saying…we have two other terms, “exegesis” and “eisegesis.” Well, eisegesis is when we approach the Scriptures with what we want it to say, or imposing our own ideas on it, whereas exegesis is trying to figure out what God is saying, and that’s the heart of CMI. And, Rob, welcome back to Search the Scriptures 24/7.

  • Can Bad Hermeneutics Lead to Heresy? with Rob Congdon
    Feb 21 2026

Gary: Welcome to Search the Scriptures 24/7, a radio ministry of The Berean Call featuring T.A. McMahon. I’m Gary Carmichael. We’re glad you could join us. In today’s program, Tom begins a two-part series with guest, Rob Congdon as they address the topic: Can Bad Hermeneutics Lead to Heresy? Here’s TBC Executive Director, Tom McMahon.

Tom: Thanks, Gary. My guest for today’s program is Dr. Robert Congdon, and Rob is the founder of Congdon Ministries International, CMI, a ministry that has sought to assist local churches in Great Britain and the US and now has expanded the work to include other countries.

A primary focus of CMI is a defense of dispensationalism and premillennialism and biblical hermeneutics, that is, the literal historical and grammatical interpretation of God’s Word.

Rob, welcome to Search the Scriptures 24/7.

Rob: Well, it’s good to be with you, Tom, and to share about our Lord together.

  • Who Created Evolution? with Carl Kerby (Part 2)
    Feb 14 2026

My guest for today’s program – this is actually part 2 – is Carl Kerby, a really good buddy of mine, and Carl’s ministry is Reasons for Hope. He’s been a founding board member of Answers in Genesis, he’s an international speaker; he is, in my biased opinion, one of the best communicators that I know in dealing with things related to biblical creation, but his passion – and this is the important part – is for evangelism. His passion is for proclaiming the authority and accuracy of the Bible and to engage the minds and hearts of believers and unbelievers in biblical truth, and especially young people, which is near and dear to my heart. So, Carl, welcome back to Search the Scriptures 24/7.
