Lots of twists! interesting story!

Strong female MC. Liked that the story kept me guessing. The story would have benefitted from multiple narrators as it was sometimes difficult to discern which character was speaking. Not as dark.and violent as I originally expected. Pretty good overall.

To say this is a waste of a credit is charitable.

Ruby, Ruby, Ruby - what happened? I typically enjoy your writing. But this is… well, it’s bad. Like, really bad.

Out of nearly 2,000 audiobooks, this easily ranks in my bottom 50.

It’s an aimless, discombobulated, incoherent string of scenes with forced “mysteries” that at nearly 10 hours in have gone nowhere. I desperately want to find something to grasp onto - anything at all to make the suspension of disbelief a possibility.

But there are too many characters with way too many hangups to keep up with. And at the risk of being mistaken as being one of the feeble, pathetic, trigger warning obsessed snowflakes that I personally cannot stand, I will say that the sexual violence truly is gratuitous and way over the top. It’s just gross.

What a disappointment.
