Despite Avelina's best attempts at diverting attention from herself, the margrave has taken notice. And try as she might, she can't deny her own growing feelings. But something else is afoot in the castle. Something sinister that could have far worse - far deadlier - consequences.

An enjoyable listen

Though I don’t think everything was historically accurate this was a lovely, clean, enjoyable tale with enough twists and turns to keep it interesting. Worth a listen if you enjoy romantic fairy tales.

My Favorite Romance Story

This is my favorite book of Melanie Dickerson's because of how well the story is written and how the characters seem so real. You will love the romance and action that this story has. It has unexpected plot twists and will make you want to listen to it all at once. Enjoy!

Addicted!!

I could barely stop listening. This book has me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Not predictable at all! I loved it!

Great for teenage girls

The story was very predictable and something I would’ve enjoyed when I was 13 years old now that I’m 69, not so much.

Exciting!!

Maybe a bit too much of thinking about kissing BUT it was an amazing book! So exciting!! New twists and turns that keep you absolutely captivated!! Can’t wait to listen to the next one!!

I thought it was really good. It was definitely clean-cut, sweet story. I think it would be perfect for young adults.
