Interesting

I really enjoyed this story. Good plot strong women characters to balance the male characters. Interesting story. Getting ready to read the next book.

Not sure.....

I read the entire Inside Out series before I came across this book by Lisa Renee Jones. I love her writing. I think the problem is me...after reading the Inside Out series then picking up this paranormal book, I might not have been in the right head space.
Eric Michael Summerer did a terrific job at narrating and bringing the different personalities to life.

Jag has been heart broken after losing his wife over a century ago. He has led the Knights of White against the soulless Darkland Beasts since his wife's death. Jag now immortal, hasn't dreamed in over a century and is now haunted by his dreams. Karen also begins to be haunted by her dreams of Jag at the same time, and they accidentally meet in an airport not knowing each other, but recognize each other from their dreams.

Neither trusts the other. Neither can survive alone. There is love shared between them....((but personally I would never call it passion)) and in order to survive Jag has to recognize the love in order to survive.

Fascinating

An intriguing, captivating and thrilling journey to go on. A definite page turner that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I enjoyed this story immensely. Eric Michael Summerer did a fantastic job bringing this story to life.

hot but lacking

I struggled to get through the whole story, but at least there were some steamy interludes

Wanted More

The ending was a little anti-climactic to me. The story was okay, but the dramatic/action scenarios were just a little boring to me.

Connecting

I truly enjoyed the story, but there was a disconnect between the main characters and I. The overall story was amazing!

At first, trying to follow all the different characters was challenging. With past lives, current lives etc. Once I figured that out loved it. Was romantic. I like vampire stories. Mildly erotic.

Liked this alright

This was a nice soulmates fantasy romance. It took a while for me to get invested but the beginning was a good hook.

Good start to series but lacking a little

I found this book interesting but lacking in detail and description. the second book does a better job of explaining what the beasts and the knights truly are. While the hero is somewhat emotionally tortured, he does finally give in and come around with a strong female. Looking forward to further books.
