Barbarian’s Captive – Eva and Kerr

This book was really good although I didn’t care for the male-dominated society who punished women at the slightest infraction. In the beginning of the book when Kerr first captured Eva, I did not like him. Actually, I did not like him for most of the book. Eva was on the planet because her and her all-female team had a mission to find a planet to replace the dying earth. By the end, Kerr grew on me and we understand more how he felt about Eva. Eva thought Kerr only wanted her to have sex and to breed. She finds out a lot about the mate process when she tries to escape. As far as the narration, I really did not care for Rhonda Provencher but thought that Rodd Provencher did a very good job.

Love all 4 books of this series!

Good story and well written. It kept me reading (or listening) for hours. Definitely recommend!

HOT AND STEAMY with a side of tenderness

I am fairly new to the sci fi scene, so had no real expectations, except that I have read some of this author's books and REALLY enjoyed them. This one did not disappoint; actually I LOVED it! There was just enough spice with interesting interactions between super gorgeous alien men and their female human captives. I really enjoyed the relationship between Kerr and Eva. He was a super Alpha sweetheart and she was stubborn and feisty with a cute side. I can't wait to listen to the rest of the series!

It took me a bit to get used to the dual narration, but I felt they both did a good job on the main characters. I thoroughly enjoyed the story line and the writer's way with words. I am very much looking forward to hearing the stories from the other characters!

Fantastic

I think that the story is really well done, and I love this entire series. Having dual narrators was a great idea with this story. It really brings the story to a new kind of life and is kind of a more intimate way of listening to the book than it would be if it were a singular narrator.

good book

while I am not a fan of S&M or dominance bondage, I have to say the narrators were great and the book was well written. If you like the darker side of scifi romances with a happy ending this is one you shouldn't pass up.
