loved BOTH narrators!! I think that this is the best Penelope Sky book I've listened to!! great story!

One of the best books I've listened to in a little while! it has me on the edge of my seat. Im glad all 3 books are available on audible! what a cliffhanger! the story is fabulous. the narration is good but I wish Cato sounded a little more like a mob boss..

Another great series

I really enjoyed this dark romance. Cato was a "too rich and handsome for his own good" jerk. This book reminds me of the Buttons series and it drew me in from the beginning. Siena was given an impossible task to bring Cato down. The writing was excellent and the story moved along at a nice pace. The narrators were outstanding.

A decent story

The best part for me was the way it ended which unfortunately though ends in a cliffhanger but because of that I will be looking for the next book. I thought the narrators were average good.

Follow characters

Of your going to write a book with charectos from past books make sure the story line is correct.
Bones was killed in the Buttons and Lace books and Crow never had a daughter so therefore Bones couldn't be Crowd son in law

Not romance

I was not expecting that ending, total surprise ending. A must read and needs sequal.

Great story line

Loved the story line but not the narration. I wish the females and males would only narrate their own parts.

Cato & Siena

Audible review. Dual POV. Book 1 of the Banker trilogy. CLIFFHANFER. Narrated in an average American accent even though the characters are Italian; there were a couple of times an Italian accent was used for one of the side characters. I only heard one error (in what was marked as chapter 16, Natalie reads "Bones has made me feel" but it should've been Bates). There is crossover from characters in previous Sky books (both Crow Barsetti & Bones appear). Trigger warnings: abduction; MFF; murder; light bondage; & a woman is struck 3 times.

Siena abandoned her family 5 years ago when her mother was murdered because of her dad's business dealings, she's living in her grandmother's house and working as an art dealer. Her father uses his cigar business to ship drugs. Damien tries to capture Siena, shoots her in the shoulder, takes her to Micah (his boss/Siena's dad's business rival) where Micah tells Siena he has her father and will let him go if she can turn Cato over to him. Without any proof that her father is alive, knowing her father didn't listen to her, Siena agrees to the trade because if she fails they'll kill her father then use her until she's dead. Cato is a 30 year old, wealthy banker who finances both legal and illegal loans. Siena starts stalking him to try to find a way into his life, Cato notices, confronts her and walks away. Crow and Bones both help her get a job as Cato's art consultant. Of course they start to fall for each other until Bates, Cato's brother and business partner, finds out that Siena's dad has been missing for the month they've been seeing each other, tells Cato, Cato plays along with Siena's deception, double crosses her and is about to kill her when she reveals she's pregnant. The positive pregnancy test saves her but Cato makes it clear once she delivers the baby he's going to kill her for her deception. JP
