Publisher's Summary

Chris Benson looks up to his older brother. In fact, everyone looks up to Chris’ older brother. Most have no choice when they're lying on their stomachs in the middle of Barclays bank. But when Gavin Benson gets sent down for 15 years, the somewhat unprofessional trio of Chris, Sid and Vince are left without a ringleader. As if Chris hasn't got enough problems, his adulterous partner Debbie is spending money faster than he can steal it, his sexually frustrated sister-in-law needs a man about the house and the Neighbourhood Watch Scheme want to sign him up for a tour of duty.

With more cock-ups than hold-ups, The Bank Robber Diaries is every bit as hilarious and wickedly un-PC as Danny King's best-selling debut, The Burglar Diaries, and guaranteed to leave you laughing all the way to the bank.

Great Brit Listen

This book hits on all cylinders. Content and narration go together well, even better than I anticipated. This book is funny too. The narrating by Joel Benedict fit the story perfectly. I definitely want to read/listen to more of Danny King. I received this audiobook for free in a promotion, and this is my voluntary review.

Totally Wrong Actor For The Book

Love the book, hate the reading, actor very unconvincing as a hardened bank robber. Disappointing.

Great fun and surprisingly insightful

If you liked the humour in Lock, Stock or In Bruges, this is definitely worth a listen. It takes a lot of skill to make you empathise with a semi-psychopath, but this book manages it nicely. The diary format keeps it interesting and makes for easy listening. The performance really brought the characters to life and made you love/hate them, as appropriate.

Absolutely Brilliant

I absolutely loved this audiobook will be looking for his other work. The internal dialogue is great and the humour at times is laugh out loud. Highly recommend
