Valuable resource

So one of my 2020 goals was to finish things I'd started ... :D and this was definitely one of them. I'd gotten a hard copy of "Balance Point" -- and Audible -- late last year, started both ... and ... life got in the way. I'd like to blame the crazy known as 2020, but it's really just life and my own distractions I let get in the way. Maybe that just proves some of the book's points?! LOL.

I love that the Audible version was narrated by the author. I always feel like that lends an extra level of "specialness" to a book, as it's their baby, something they've spent a great deal of time on and care about. Plus, you get to hear it how they envision it being said, not how a third-party narrator they may or may not have chosen envisions it.

Book content is awesome; well-researched and oh, so applicable, even for the non-entrepreneur. I do lean toward the paperback in this regard (just because I like to flip back and forth and refer to sections over again, which is easier with a hard copy or ebook than audio), but the audiobook was still a great companion on a series of recent neighborhood walks.

Even as a non-entrepreneur, I found the content engaging, helpful, and thought-provoking. A valuable resource I'll return to again and again.

I received a copy of the book from the author. All opinions are my own.

Well laid out to hear in small chunks

A mistake I see with work-life balance books is the sheer breadth of them. If I'm busy, and I need help with time management, I don't need a 7 hour book nor would I have time to listen to it. This book succinctly operates on 11 principles so you can take it one piece at a time. Well written and narrated with good advice.

Excellent listen

Well recorded and well paced. Many books on this subject are usually rehashments or go on and on. This one was well planned and just right.
