Hidden Gem

New author and new narrator for me. Genuinely surprised at how much I enjoyed this story. A little mystery, a little love story, a little paranormal, a lot of intrigue. Finding out what The Balance is is a great start for a series. Can’t wait to dig into more!

Maybe just not for me

It was my first time listening to this author and narrator and I just kept losing interest in the story. I am not sure if it was the narrator or the story. The narrator in some voices of characters just kept distracting me. Once I did get to the ending I started to get more into the story.
