Great Anti-hero!

Is there anything better than a villain turned hero?! Sebastian is a high-functioning psychopath thanks to the help from his father while growing up. I know it wasn’t the main part of the story but I loved the glimpses into his childhood when his dad would show and teach him how to blend in with society. I think I was expecting more of a love triangle after reading the blurb and those really aren’t my jam (I’m a sucker for everyone having a HEA) but this one didn’t really feel like that. It might just be because I hated Link from the very beginning, he was definitely no white knight so I had no problem hoping for him to be rejected! Sebastian meets Camille at a ball one night and knows that she is meant to be his, which kidnapping aside is kind of swoon-worthy. I really enjoyed Sebastian, his thought process isn’t the same as most people’s but he constantly tried to understand Camille when she would explain things. This isn’t a typical dark captive romance, Sebastian wasn’t into punishing or hurting Camille… he just knew they belonged together and wanted to keep her with him until she felt the same. It was odd that Sebastian seemed more vulnerable than Camille to me, he laid everything on the table. Camille was a little trickier, she was constantly in denial about her feelings for Sebastian and she was trying to force herself to feel something for Link throughout the entire book and it drove me crazy. The ending was great and I was hoping things turned out well for Sebastian (what can I say, he was my favorite character)!

I've never rated a book before but I did like this one a lot. it's dark but a good story, thought provoking if your into dark . many emotions

I loved this book. Absolutely adored Sebastian, he didn't quite understand emotions and every time he felt love toward Camille he described it as heartburn. But his actions screamed love.

I want more of Sebastian and Camille together. They were so good together.

Love Love Love

Getting a glimpse into Sebastian's mind was fascinating. The story kept me smiling. I'd definitely recommend this book. So beautiful. Loved Sebastian's dad too.

One of the best books this year!

This was one of the best books I’ve read/listened to this year! Idk what I will do now that’s it’s over. I miss Camille and Sebastian already. Everything was setup just right. It was so hot and sexy.

Cute and NOT dark at all!

I enjoyed the book. I found it sexy and funny. I know that mental health is a serious topic and not a funny at all. I think the way the author wrote the story it was not a too dark.
I sort of like Sebastian 😉

I enjoyed the story

I liked it some parts where a little over the top for me. I liked Sebastian the most and how he owned his faults. I didn't really understand how Link just went from all sweet one minute to rapist the next. but overall I enjoyed it.
