Love those boys from Molly Riot

I listened and reviewed the other books separtely so this will mostly be about Dan and Mark.

Dan's Story

I really liked Dan. He is probably the most laid back go with the flow member of the group. I really liked him and Sophie together too. The conflict of the story was how can Dan get the girl that his friend Mark likes... grrr. Sophie made me so mad with this one. I thought Dan's reaction was very realistic and I understand why he felt the way he did. Even though Mark was acting very childish about it, I kind of understand where he was coming from. What Sophie did was not cool but I like that she tried to smooth things over on her own without Dan's help. Dan and Sophie really were great for each other. 3.5 stars

Mark's Story

After how Mark acted in Dan's book I was glad to get his side of the story. At this point he is the lone single dude in Molly Riot. After playing at a festival with another band, Mark kind of gets his mojo back and meets Allie who is a photographer at the event. They get really close really quick and fellow band made Alex just knows Allie is up to no good. I loved Mark and Allie. I was so happy Mark found someone for him. Allie was really great too. Ohh the conflict of the story. I really liked that and I loved the resolution. I wish we could get a littel glimpse of the future to see how the band recovered fully from the incident. 4 stars


Now on to the narration. I really feel like DC Cole created whole persona for each character. Maybe only I heard it but I felt like he kept each character voice for each book. The way he did Marks voice in each book was still Marks voice in his own book. I love DC Cole for rockstar books and he makes the characters sound so hot in the sexy times. Definitely listening to more from him.

Overall for the whole series 4 stars for those Molly Riot boys.

Not only were the stories engaging and well-written but the narrator was sex personified!

Who was your favorite character and why?

All of the guys in the band are my favorites. I can't pick one, the other souls be jealous!

What does D. C. Cole bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

D. C. Cole has a voice that sends shivers down your back. He brings the characters to life with different accents and inflections.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I listened in the car on the way to and from work. I was almost late several times because I didn't want to stop!

Party Like A Rock Star

D C Cole is perfect narrating the crazy lives of Jade Allen's THE BAD BOYS OF MOLLY RIOT. Not always fun and games and sex., The guys in the group have to navigate the business of stardom as well as friendship and love ♥♥♥♥♥. Like any family they have their ups and downs but in the end the ride is worth it.☺☺

The audio brings the characters to life so I would have to say yes.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I liked all of the characters. They were funny and all brought something unique to the stories.

What does D. C. Cole bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I liked how D.C. Cole changed his voice each time he changed characters in each book. That was very unique that no two characters sounded the same as the book before.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed a few times because the band was pretty hilarious!

I think I'm too old for this!

I love listening to romance stories, but haven't listened to many of the "rock stars" romance and thought this bundle would be a good listen. My problem with the stories was the drug use. As a parent of someone who battled that, I didn't like hearing it glamorized. That ruined the book for me. Beyond the drug use, there were some very good parts to the stories. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. If drug use does not bother you, then the rating would be much higher. D.C. Cole did an excellent performance with the various characters voices in this series. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator, and/or publisher.

bad boys indeed :D

I love boxed sets, no waiting for the next story... YAS!!!
Found the series entertaining, giving a glimpse into the inner working of a music band and each individuals as they interact and their impact on the dynamics of the group.
Each of the bad boys has their own story in this set and I enjoyed listening how each found their woman who stole their hearts and got their HEA. Each story is as unique as the man with ups and downs. Of the five, I think Julian is my fave and Alex is my least favourite, he is quite a jerk in the last book.
Mr. Cole is among my top 5 fave narrators and he didn't disappoint on these books either. His sexy rasp is addictive, love how alive each characters becomes when he gives them voice, each with their own quirks.

Molly Riot Rocks!

I thoroughly enjoyed The Bad Boys of Molly Riot. Each story was a lighthearted fun listen. D.C. Cole does an awesome job bringing each bad boy to life.

Great set of books

I was gifted this audio ARC for a honest and unbiased review from the author/narrator.
This was a very long set of books 14 hours but well worth it. Each book in series can be listened to as a stand alone and each band member has their own book/story. I really enjoyed the writings of Jade Allen she put together the words that made you feel you were a fly on the wall, especially with the help of D.C. Cole.
Cole was perfect for this series, I liked how D.C. Cole changed his voice each time he changed characters in each book.

The 1st book is about North meeting a counselor in rehab named Mary.
The 2nd book is about Nick who falls for the ( hard to get) Olivia.
The 3rd book is about Julian who fights his attraction for Fran.. who also happens to be his rival from another band.
The 4th book is about Dan who falls for a bartender named Sophie. 
the problem is.. another band mate also shares Dan's interest in her.
The 5th book is about Mark finding his love instrest a photographer named Allie.
I highly recommend this audio book to anyone who loves a good book

Hot Rocking Series!

Enjoyed hearing all the stories about each member of Molly Riot! The narrator did an awesome job of distinguishing his voice for each character! All from the male POV. Warning- lots of sexy scenes! I would definitely check out more from this author.

This is the complete Molly Riot Series, so it was a long listen but well worth it. I love this series! Each story can be listened to as a standalone and all the band members got their own story. I love bad boy rocker romances and this set didn't disappoint. D.C. Cole is a terrific narrator and was perfect for this series. I would recommend The Bad Boys of Molly Riot.
