It's Halloween week, and odd things are happening.

Big the Barn Cat takes his role on the W's farm very seriously, making sure everything runs smoothly and goes according to plan. But things don't always go according to plan....

When Big unexpectedly meets a shadowy kitty under his favorite bench on the porch and the stranger doesn't know any of the answers to his important questions, Big takes it upon himself to learn where the kitty came from and get him home.

While Big wants to help the new cat out, his top priority is still to his family and their farm, and someone has been spreading rumors that the farm is on the verge of starvation.

Very fun story that feels like Hank the Cowdog, but for kitty lovers! The Halloween chapters make it a perfect Autumn read!

Cute kitty story.

Very cute tale, even though it's directed towards children, as an adult I enjoyed it as well. Big and Skiziks's tale make for a cute adventure with lots of humor mixed in.

Great Children’s Tale

What a fun children’s book! The Backward Kitty is written in the point of view of Big the barn cat. The author did an excellent job portraying a cat’s way of thinking and behaving. The story takes place around Halloween which is perfect for Fall reading or anytime you want a sweet cat tale. I’m young at heart and loved the story.

Narration was excellent and brought the story to life. I enjoyed the few songs and multiple voices.

The story is fun, sweet, and mysterious at times. Perfect for children or anyone young at heart. I love cats and throughly enjoyed the tale. It is nice that the author added some extras after conclusion; a cookie recipe, pumpkin carving instructions, and more.
