Amazing story behind the story

I just finished The Awakening by Mindy Hite and I’m so proud of her. Knowing this story was inspired through a dream and written very prayerfully adds such a special layer to it.
It’s a compelling story of light and darkness, but what stood out to me most was the heart behind it. Sarah’s journey of growth and courage feels relatable, even in a supernatural world.
You can tell this book was written with intention. I truly believe it will reach the readers it’s meant to.
Excited to see where this series goes.

Excellent Book

Mindy Hite, the author of Light Bearers, brings the book to life as she reads the story for audible. I originally read it when first published and I can’t wait to read the sequel that has just been published.

Love the storyline and adventure

The awareness of the heroine Sarah is wonderful, she follows her intuitions when she feels something is off. She is empathetic to those around her. As she and Lucas grow closer she becomes more awakened to the malevolence that was flowing through her family ties. I love the empowerment of her character. The storyline is wonderful, I really enjoyed listening to it while driving and cleaning house. The narrators voice is calming. It is a very coming age story with adventure. I can't wait to listen to the second one.
