Another excellent book. Could not put it down! Hope to see her kicking some rear in the next book. No need to think about getting this book just do it!

Looking forward to the rest of the series on audiobook. Just as good as his other works.

This was refreshing

I really enjoyed this. Lately, I've been more interested in the wlw romance aspect of fantasy books and was okay if the surrounding storyline was lackluster. This book gave me hope that there will, eventually, be a great love story while at the same time providing a very enjoyable experience. Thank you. I look forward to exploring this author more and really loked the narrator as well!

Good fantasy book.

For Medrano's writing this book is very chaste. So if that's what you're looking for you will be disappointed. But if you are looking for a good fantasy book with a female mc that has a spine you have to look no further. The narration was pleasant to listen to.

Enjoyed both the story and the narrator. This is my favorite series so far that I've read from Benjamin Medrano with good pacing and a strong main character.

The master story teller does it again!!! Don’t miss out on this.

I truly love every book Benjamin Medrano has written, I just can’t get enough of his books, they always makes feel like I am personally getting to know a whole new world. The narrator for this was spot on what a great jobb she did, with telling this intriguing tale. Once again a great female lead that doesn’t start out the most powerful, But fights to protect those around her even if it costs her everything. Couldn’t wait for book 2 to get out on audible so I went ahead and bought it in kindle.

A story of inner strength and resolve.
Great characters with lots of growth possibilities but that is expected from Benjamin Medrano.
The narrator was a perfect fit for the series.
