a charming and very well narrated adventure

Avalon Protocol delivers a solid story and some interesting ideas, highly elevated by the narration. The performance injects a charming amount of life to the characters and descriptions and adds a level of polish that kept me entertained and invested. A good listen overall, and I will certainly be checking out the other works by both the author and the narrator.

Funny

The Avalon Protocol by Q. Harveson is a great science fiction adventure. Cole Forbes did a great job with the narration. The story is entertaining, funny, interesting, exciting, mysterious, and more. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. highly recommended

Excellent story and excellent narration! Listen!

First of all, The Avalon Protocol is the 4th in a series that I am hooked on, so I love the book! According to the authors website the other books in the series will be on Audible soon and I will probably be getting them even though I have read the books already. (the ones that are out, anyway)
Because- The narration was CRAZY GOOD. I have listened to quite a few audio books. Sometimes they are really good and sometimes the narrator will put me to sleep. This was just so much better. The narrator did character voices so you never had a doubt who was talking.
The book goes from funny to heartwarming to exciting...there is just a lot going on. The narrator set the tone for each scene so well.
I will be telling everyone I know to get this audio book and I can't wait for the rest of the series!

This was a great and easy listen! I really enjoyed this novel and liked the disjointed story telling style, although at times it was hard to follow without more context. But that gives me something to look forward to! The voice actor/narrator did an amazing job. He had a great range and flow. And his voice + some of the spicier dialogue scenes were :))

This story is engaging and overall a great book.

The writing for this story is ear catching. The voice actor did an amazing job with both the male and female characters.

A novel brought to life

The Avalon Protocol is a fun science fiction novel containing quirky characters, intense but humorous conversations, and an enjoyable banter sure to make anyone smile at least once.

The novel is light and playful while still able to grab ahold of a tense moment when it needs too, which I always appreciate.

The narrator, Cole Forbes, did such a spectacular job creating such defined voices for each of the individual characters. I never had to question which character I was listening too and this is the sign of a quality narrator.

The excitement, the dread, the confusion, and the banter were all executed beautifully by Mr. Forbes and I look forward to hearing more of his narration in the future.

The combination of Harveson, the writer, and Forbes, the narrator, really made this novel come alive and was the most enjoyable part of my morning, every morning

Great story and very well read!

I’ve been enjoying this new author over the last year. I started with his first book “Primordium”, which I recommend reading first. It’s a book of short stories, and each story seems to tie into each of his books. I’ve had fun making all of the connections. Also very well read. The narrator seems to really understand the author and also sounds like I would think the character would sound, which always makes it fun to listen to.

Amazing story, character development and narration!

I will be the first to say that I'm usually not one who listens to audio books; I'm either put to sleep by the narrator, or can't pay attention due to the cadence or tone the narrator opts to use. That was far from the case with The Avalon Protocol. I was instantly drawn in by the captivating story, and the way the narrator brought to life every character. It felt as though I was on the journey with Avalon and Elliot, and did not want it to end.

I recommend this book for anyone who loves a good adventure, and beautiful character development. The author did an amazing job, and I can't wait to delve into more of his works. The narrator did a wonderful job as well. Readers and authors alike know how important quality and inventive narration can bring the authors vision and story to life. This was a perfect example of just that.
