Great voice narration

What made the experience of listening to The Atomic Sea, Part Four the most enjoyable?

Ray Greenley has provided fantastic voice overs for the characters of this story which have made the characters more memorable to me and have also improved upon the story itself.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Atomic Sea, Part Four?

The scenes where Avery has to deal with Sheridan in what he feel is right versus what he just feels.

What does Ray Greenley bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Ray is a consummate professional who brings voice tailored narration to each character and gives the book a life of its own with more memorable moments over if I had read it page by page.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The book did not make me laugh or cry, but it kept me interested in the story the whole way through which is enough to ask.

Any additional comments?

I am interested in seeing where this story is taken, but really only in the means of hearing the narration which I have listened to for the past 4 installments.

Who was your favorite character and why?

In this book in the series, I'd have to say Sheridan is my favorite character as we get to see some depth that she hasn't shown in previous books in this series.

Have you listened to any of Ray Greenley’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to other works by Greenley. He continues to show development as a narrator and has a pleasant speaking voice that continues to set a smooth pace for the Atomic Sea books.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

"Interdimensional beings have corrupted the planet and set off a world-wide war. The Octung and their 'gods' are close to world domination, but one small force stands against them."

Any additional comments?

If you like dark stories full of Cthulu-esque imagery and bloody battle scenes, check out the Atomic Sea series.

Cost to much.

The story of this series is ok, i wish there was more than 1 narrator though. I hate the shortness of this book, as it still cost just as much as a book with 30 some odd chapters. I feel fairly ripped off to be honest.

That said... this series hits a loy of high points for stories I enjoy. it doesnt shy from the harsh reality of peoples, or otherwise, lives and presents a believeable story that is easy to follow if not somewhat predicatable.

All in all I have so far enjoyed the series, despite my dislike of the narrator.
