Wow...Just Wow

A lot of audiobook friends have been talking about this book. I was lucky enough to have someone gift me this gem. I swear I did not have a clue going into this book what I was about to get. I am left with an open mouth and more questions. But also my mind is putting together all the pieces.

The book is put together in pieces of before and after and it does all make sense, I never was confused with the timeline. The story kept me guessing and wanting to know I didn’t want to pause it for any reason.

The last half of the book I had my own guesses and wow... Just wow. I think everyone needs to experience this for themselves.

The narration is out of this world phenomenal, they all do a fantastic job giving us these unique characters.

Totally worth every second

I can’t believe how much I feel like I have been left hanging. I know the ending, I anticipated it a little bit and thought I knew what was happening but now I need a sequel and there isn’t one?! I’m not sure how I feel about this. I need to talk about it and reflect and vent and ughhh. So much to say, so much to love. That narration was epic and a stellar cast. So perfect I felt like I was there. Great read.

What just happened?!

I’ll tell you what happened. IT ENDED and I wasn’t ready!! Not yeeeeet!!

Okay. So the book is fantastic as well as the narrators. But I sorta felt like I wanted to get to the actual problem statement a lot sooner than it did. Outside of that I thought it was grrreeeat! ❤️

Great listen and oh that ending

Excellent! I wasn’t sure where this was going and there are lots of hidden twists as you dive through the seemingly straight forward storyline. It’s definitely binge worthy! And Ohhhh that ending!

I could not wait to listen to the next chapter. The plot was not as obvious as one could think it would be. Must read! Great for commute

So many twists!

It has been awhile that a story has kept me interested to the very end. so many twists and when I think I know what is happening, I am proven wrong!

Heartwarming story

Such a heartwarming story about the love of a family and loss.
I wasn't prepared for the shock of the ending. WOW.

Soooooooo Good

Wow. Wow. Wow.
That's actually all I'm able to say after finishing this novel. What an epic love story!
It's raw yet sweet. Beautiful yet heartbreaking. Brimming with hope yet full of sorrow. It was sexy and strong but brought me to tears at multiple parts of the story.
What I loved about When Ashes Fall was the incredible twist. And The Assistant had it's own secrets to unravel slowly. The first big surprise I guessed early on, but that epilogue....holy cow batman, that was a doozy.
I may just have to start my second read of the story tomorrow!

All three narrators were amazing, but Jacob Morgan's voice is so yummy!

Unexpected twists

This was a pretty good listen. The plot was completely different from what I expected it to be, in a good way. I get tired of the typical affairs and "other woman" type books. This book caught me off guard with the many emotions I felt listening to the detailed account of how sickness takes a toll on someone's psyche and the lengths we go to in order to protect our loved ones.

I listened to the book for several chapters wondering when the suspense would kick in and I found myself getting impatient with all of the "befores" and "afters" but it makes sense towards the end of the book. The book finally picked up and captured my attention around Chapter 35 and ended with a cliffhanger that left me with soo many questions.

Overall, a good read, but could've been better. Each of the narrators did a spectacular job of telling the story full of intense emotion, magnifying the story and speaking to the soul.
