I’m only on chapter 5, and the narrators are just not working for me, especially the male narrator. The female narrator a lot of times sounds like she’s going to cry, even though the scene doesn’t call for it, and the Mail narrator makes it hard to tell the difference between what character is speaking. I’ll keep listening though since it’s a free lesson, hopefully the story gets somewhere and maybe the narrators will grow on me.
Update : i’m on chapter 11 and this book is just dragging on. This chapter is long descriptive slow slowly drug out sex scene. Just seems like this book is dragging on and on, with no real direction. Think I’m going to cut myself loose now and find something else to listen to.
