Great book pertaining to communication styles! This book provides a psychological approach to understanding one another instead of wondering why your partner can't understand you. The mutual perspective this book provides is essential to communicating on an equal footing. As the book describes communication as a tango between a couple, so in life each partner has to take cues from the other in order to effectively dane or communicate together. This book is clear and concise and a great way to develop a strong relationship that benefits both.

This book looked at communication in relationships from several different angles, describing in depth what communication is, why it is important, and the specific skills necessary to have effective loving communication in a relationship. This is an excellent resource for partners just starting out, or couples who are looking to deepen or improve their skills. There are so many practical suggestions that will lead to success. Great book!

Something for everyone!!

This audio book is an excellent tool for fine tuning communication skills. The authors dive deep into the psychology of communication to lay a foundation. They cover an array of topics such as conflict management, body language, root causes of conflict, active listening , and connecting emotionally with your partner to name a few. They offer examples and thought provoking exercises to practice with your partner. Self reflection on ways we can improve is something that would benefit everyone. With divorce rates so high, I think this should be taught in schools as a life skill that can be applied in all relationships. Get your pen and paper out for the exercises provided in this book!!

Great Book!

I currently struggle with my partner with communication and it has damaged our relationship and we both agree that it's our communication. We are both working on UT slowly but I really think this book can help us improve it significantly! . I will definitely share this with my partner because I learned myself where I need improvement with the communication and he can also learned where he needs to improve on with his communication. I highly recommend it!
