She reflects on her career-long investment in documenting Chicana experiences and what inspired her to build a career around documenting the history of women who were part of the National Women's Political Caucus (NWPC), Chicana Caucus of the NWPC from 1977 to 1979, which her mother, Ruth "Rhea" Mojica Hammer, was a key figure.
