Joe Shanks' progression and a point of maturity.

I've listened to this more than once. Twists and turns leading Joe through mistakes to understanding. Friends helping solve problems in a troubled citadel. I enjoyed the banter between friends and the learning that comes along the way!

Intrigue and integrity!

This book had more intrigue than any of S. D. Smith other Green Ember/Natalia books. Smith's multidimensional plot created an intense desire to keep reading or listening. His excellent character development provided multiple examples of honorable character, sacrificial love, and doing "what's right," or one's duty. I enjoyed stopping the audio to discuss characters and plot development with my son.
The only thing I would change is the addition of a sequel! Great story!

A Fun book

I think it is a little mature and I would recommend it for 10.and up but it depends on the.child that's reading. Eric Fritzius does a good gob and I enjoyed it.

I liked all of it but the ending was a little weird like how the rabbits weren’t moving .
