As d’Arblay eludes the grasp of the police and the FBI, Meacham returns to Europe in the hopes of discovering the identity of the French impostor. Back in the U.S., d’Arblay is spotted in New York City but quickly disappears, prompting a frantic manhunt to capture him before he escapes across the border.
