QUICK LISTEN AND NARRATER HAS GREAT VOICE

Listen to this one all day whilst commuting. Use it as background noise and sub programming instead of listening to the drivel on the radio.

I enjoyed it and am excited about using several of the tools offered in this book. “Make each task you you dread doing related to a goal...”. Best line in the book

Good content, Unenjoyable Voice

There were several good tips I got from the book, however the voice of the reader was difficult to listen to. Reminded me of the mayor in the Simpsons.

overused ideas

narrative voice is not engaging and he sounds like a roboy, I wish he hired someone else to narrate his book

I wish I hadn't bought it

If you are already short on time this book will frustrate you. I feel like I wasted a couple of hours of my time listening to filler completely unrelated to the topic.

1) The first 7 chapters of the audiobook are promos or regurgitation descriptions of what you already are expecting from the book. 1 chapter, OK, but 7?
2) A large portion of the rest of the book seems to be a recap of other peoples books and ideas. This might be valuable but it is very difficult to listen to when you thought you paid for original ideas, or at least a new take on others original ideas.
3) For me, the voice became annoying after a very short time. It made the material more difficult to listen to.
4) I persevered as long as I could stand it because I wanted the book to be good. In the end it was just too much.

On top of all of this, the book mentions a couple of websites where you can download free "bonus" resources for buying the book. The only way you can access the resources is by giving your contact information and joining as a member. These are hardly free resources if you have to give your information to get them. Neither are they bonuses if you buy the book. Anyone can access these "resources" if they have the website address.

I will not buy another book from this author.

Divorcing Procrastination

I must admit that I procrastinated on finishing this book, but the principles were so given in such a way, that I often found myself thinking about them, which would in turn, move me to action. This book has definitely given me the tools to get out of the slump of being simply busy, and more into being productive.
