The Amusement Park

Funland Amusement Park was a very popular theme park until one sunny afternoon, three teens died tragically on three different rides. The park closed and was vacant for five years until Blake Maxwell and his wife Myrna purchased it. Had they known what was in store for them, they would have reconsidered.

Horror for Sure-er

Not a fan of the virtual voice. It's distracting when words are mispronounced and wrong emotional inflection are needed. Loved the story. Found a new favorite author. Added all his books for a listen.

A modern day tale of Elizabeth Bathory

Interesting story and a fun read. Virtual voice has a long way to go. If you can handle mispronounced words and phrases, along with complete lack of emotion, it’s not so bad.

An Eye-Roller

I know this isn't written by Tolstoy or Shakespeare. Therefore, when I read this kind of literary work I automatically give the author a lot of leeway when it comes to style and content, but this tale really isn't well constructed. The author started with a pretty good idea, but they then fleshed it out (pun intended) with dumb-as-stumps characters, dull prose, and asinine plot twists. After four or five hard eye-rolls, I realized listening to this story was a chore rather than a pleasurable escape. Sadly, I am a completionist and I had to finish it. Perhaps, if a reader isn't too discerning and can get it for free, this tale will be entertaining enough, but I was hoping for something a little better.
