Publisher's Summary

Do you want to learn and start programming within 24 hours?

Learning to write computer programs can be fun if you take up the right approach, and this is the objective of this book. This book provides a simple, easy-to-follow, and practically sound approach to computer programming.

These are topics many programming guides don’t cover, as they are assumed to be general knowledge to most developers. That is why this guide has been created. It is the ultimate primer to all programming languages.

Learn how to code step by step.

This book teaches computational and algorithmic thinking by taking very seriously one thing for granted - that the listener knows absolutely nothing about computer programming!

However, a word of advice for new learners is that you must listen to the book a couple of times to get a better understanding of the subject. This will help you transition from a novice to expert. The first time will help you form a foundation, which can be solidified by listening to it a second time.

Inside you will discover:

  • The C++ programming language
  • The C# programming language
  • The Python programming language
  • Working with the Java coding language
  • How to be completely anonymous online like the pros
  • How to keep yourself safe from being hacked
  • Which tools the hackers use to crack passwords
  • How you can use multiple tools to gather information with wireless hacking
  • How to hack something or someone? (Laying down important ground rules)
  • The most dangerous cyber security threats in 2018 – An in-depth look
  • Advance hacking tips - The things to consider
  • Raspberry Pi 3 - Model B hardware specifications
  • Configuring Raspberry Pi
  • Programming in Raspberry Pi
  • Python programing: Working with loops in Python

Disappointing

The recording skips occasionally and is peppered with either typos and/or mispronunciations by the narrator which changes the meaning of many of the statements.

useless as an audiobook

This would probably been a very good physical book, as you could study the codes. To have to listen to a voice reading out computer code is just a waste of time. I do not understand the positive feedback here. This book is completely useless as an audiobook. Buy a physical copy instead!

Great programming concept

I really like this suggestion of Python programming. Each programming concept is well explained and followed by a section of code that describes how the line-by-line describes the code. Start a very good jump and written a comfortable style.

Best programming book so far

Best programming book on Python. You'll learn to love this books. I learned Python and now I'm learning Java. Not once did I feel frustrated or have to research on the internet myself to figure out what the author was trying to explain. This book is a wonderful resource for the burgeoning programmer.

Truly Awful

Does it really make sense to have an audiobook that is some sort of chatbot/text to speech agent (I hope - the narration was like listening to a bot reading lines of programming code out). How on earth others have rated this highly as an audiobook is beyond me. Suitable for - well nobody; far better free resources are available.

Not even the Hello World codes are correct in it!

If you expect that you going to learn from this audio book, you are going to be disappointed. The book goes on a few languages first on how to get to Hello World, however the codes are not working on several compilers, and it does also goes on useless stuff in the beginning that you don't need to know about programming yet... I would much rather recommend watching programming 101 videos on youtube from 2007 than this audiobook.

The experience would be probably a bit better if they would have included a PDF version so you could compare the codes, especially if you are not a native English speaker.

Regarding all the 5 star reviews on it, I feel scammed as they seem to be all fake reviews and all of them are on the same dates too.

Avoid it at all costs!

Completely practical approach

Easy and simple book. It includes a completely practical approach to machine learning topic. I found this book to be very clearly written and also very informative since in addition to providing code examples it tried to illustrate the basics of the theory behind what makes machine learning work.
