A fun, old-style adventure

Dodge Dalton is back for another adventure and this one is just as, if not, more fun than the two that came before it. I just love the characters of Dodge and Hurricane, they are fun, well written and really blend well together. The thing I love about these books is that the good guys are old-fashioned good guys and do what it takes to rescue their friends, save the world and maybe get the girl. Also, that you are kept guessing, so who is the 'real' bad guy and when all is revealed you can't help but sit back and thing 'darn, how did I miss that?' That is the effect of good writing. I really hope we see more of Dodge, his friends and their adventures in the future because these books are pure escapism.

Jeffrey S. Fellin or as I've taken to calling him 'The Voice of Dodge' delivers a fantastic performance. Really encompassing the listener in the story, not only making the characters seem larger than life but allowing the listener to visualise what is happening and feel like they are observing the story as it's happening. The performance is smooth and it's very easy to follow which character is which. I think Sean Ellis' writing and Jeffrey S. fellin's narration are a perfect blend. I really hope for more in the future.
