Funny as F...!

This is the funniest book I have read in a long time. Mulligan's self-deprecatory humour is top-notch, but he also convincingly relates the harrowing conditions the troops operated under. The narration is excellent, and the epilogue is especially thoughtful and moving.

A truly remarkable story.
