shouldn't there be a PDF with this?

What made the experience of listening to The Accelerated Learning French System the most enjoyable?

if you're new to french, this is not the book for you. i get the feeling over and over that there should be a PDF attached - the narrator mentions a "memory map" over and over to reference, i am pretty sure he is referring to something external that has photos. even the cheapest french audiobooks have pdfs, but this one does not. i can't help feeling like i am missing out on an important part of the learning system, as it is all laid out in a very systematic way that the narrator assures you will solidify the information in your memory by creating mental associations between the pictures and the words. i feel like i'm only getting half the product here.
if you haven't learned at least some french already, i don't think that this will help you, because you will have trouble repeating things that are strung together quickly in french with nothing to look at to see what they are actually saying.

Who was your favorite character and why?

it's a french practice book, not fiction. i mean, there are narrated stories in french to help you learn, but they are pretty Dick and Jane, characters composed of useful vocabulary, not anything particularly compelling.

What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

definitely, french pronunciation is difficult!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

"this time you don't need the missing PDF"

There was almost no instruction. The music and "whispering" sections were practically inaudible and useless to me.

The Accelerated Learning French System

Overall great learning approach and format. One thing missing is a PDF of the written materials that is referred to throughout the recordings. It would be so helpful to have. Unknown why the document was not included or if it would be. Still, much French can be attained without it.

WHERE IS THE PDF??

Every other language learning, so far, has a PDF to follow along with. Why is there not one included in this? The audio clearly states to follow along and use the PDF. I assume this was an oversight. I will return the course.
I gave it one star because I haven't gone past chapter 2 yet for the stated reason.

lots of extra materials. i didnt like many french systems but this book was tres bien.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

This is the original audio cassette program that was taped 30 years ago. No effort has been made to update any part of it; currency, weights and measures, social greetings
