What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

To me this was a "let me tell you how to fix it " And " how you arent using your resources well" book. This is not a book on how to overcome the guilty feelings. The suggestions and assumptions in this book are not new and in my case are totally unrealistic. If caregivers could do these things they would have done such and not need the book. The assessment and all the planning suggestions might work for time prior to the need for a caretaker, but once there is a caretaker it is too late.

What could Peter Mangiola have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Instead of saying, prepare, find time in schedule, ask and expect family members and friends to help I would have liked some guidance on how to handle the guilt when the friends and family say no, there is no extra time because of the additional responsibilities etc. Dealing with the guilt and learning to examine and accept that caregivers of loved ones will never be able to give and do enough, would be more help.

Any additional comments?

It made me feel guiltier!
