A pretty good read!

Is there anything you would change about this book?

This reminds me of the Host BUT its good!! It's not 5,000 pages of boring emptiness. It keeps your attention and isn't pretentious like Ms. Meyers book. I enjoyed the characters and their struggles. A bit of a lovey story was annoying (only bc I don't like them) but was bearable bc it wasn't all frilly and obnoxious again like the Host was bleck! I generally like when books change points of view but for some reason I didn't enjoy that aspect in this book I liked Cassie's POV and found myself enjoying those chapters more than others. All in all s good book but not something I will obsess about!

Absolutely loved this book! Great story, great narrative. Hope the movie can live up to this!

Worth the read.

The narration was done well. Very clear. As a story, the information was put together very well. This was a easy book to follow along and interact within the story.

Great narration and great story. I wish the story went on a little bit longer. Left me wondering a few things. Is there going to be a part 2?

pretty good. i wasn't expecting a love story.

when i purchased this audio book i was expecting something totally different. like a independence day or full on apocalypse action packed book. wasn't expecting a love story. still pretty good with a decent amount of action.

both readers are great, sell the feelings of the characters. can't wait to start the next book!

I listened to it because I payed for it and it was pretty good as far as the plot and action but unless you want teen romance don't buy.

Pleasantly surprised!

I'm not a big a sci-fi fan but this was more about relationships and what makes us human. Who the aliens where reminded me of the host.

Nothing spectacular

I liked it, I didn't like it. I read it, but really I didn't (see, cause it's an audio book). Okay, probably a bad start for a review but the book is filled with sentences like that: I run, I die; I stay, I die. I'm awake, but I'm not awake. Also, there are a lot of plot lines that would appeal to the 12-15 year-old reader (the target market) and maybe some Stockholm syndrome sprinkled in, just for good measure. I'll read the next two books, but only because I feel like I'm vested in the story and need to find out what happens next.
