As their smart-homes turn into digital prisons and their own devices attempt to "sync" their nervous systems to a predatory mesh-network, the group must flee into the "Dead Zones" of the analog world . Guided by a disgraced professor and armed with a "Hard Reset" kit of salt, iron-gall ink, and 1940s film cameras, Jax must learn the ancient syntax of the Divband to "delete" a god that has already begun to download itself into reality.

The signal is rising. The noose is cast. If Jax can't trigger the system wipe, the world will be rewritten in a code of chaos where humanity is nothing more than a legacy file.
