Wrap it up

This book is an eye opener. There are really people out there intentionally spreading HIV. and there are innocent wives, girlfriends husbands and boyfriends who get the virus from their cheating partners. No matter how cute clean a person is when you are ready to have unprotected sex get tested. This was a great book. I wonder if there will be a part 2.

Recommended review for "That Girl Is Poison"

“That girl is poison” is a funny but sad book. You should always be nice to everyone. Always treat others like the way you want to be treated. This little girl in this book was treated horribly wrong since the fifth grade. I hate that her mother promised her a graduation surprise and never came back for her. Her mother left in the care of her aunt and uncle. Desire never felt loved and almost always left loney. It was a terrible memory for me when Desire lost her bestfriend Greg. He turned out to be her real brother. Greg always warned Her to stay away from Malik but Desire did not listen. Desire contracted “H.I.V” through unprotected sex. Desire was horrified like anyone would be of the deadly virus which turns into full blown “A.I.D.S”. Desire was just so young. This girl took more ass whippings from her mean ass aunt. This child was puniDesired for breathing too loud. My favorite part was when Desire went back for her little baby. Desire was so angry Desire started passing this deadly virus to everyone that Desire could infect including all of those who mistreated her in her life. I hated that Desire went crazy in the end of the book. I love this book and I approve this book for reading on audible.com

Depressing and heart wrenching.Had me stressed out

OMG this whole thing is crazy. The way it's written definitely seems like this terrible roller coaster of a story could be real, but boy oh boy is it depressing. Desire is kicked standing and lying down and she makes terrible decisions on top of the terrible treatment she experiences. Ooooh wee. I don't even know what else to say about this book except that I'll be reading more books by this author...after I have a drink. LOL

Tired to read the entire book but it was just so depressing and unrealistic. Storyline was kind of interesting though.

Speechless!!!!

Excellent but depressing to read; almost breaks your heart. I really enjoyed the narrator; sounds very young.

Horrible narrator

The book itself is pretty unrealistic, and Desire is really naive even for her age, but I’m used to that with some of these books. The narrator just makes it way worse. She really needs to work on her male characters, especially. She sounds like a child trying to sound like a man. She gives every male character an awkward speech impediment. It’s uncomfortable to listen to. I think I could have finished the book with a better narrator.

It can’t be that bad.

A little far fetched. Everything that can happen to a person happened to Desire. It was just too much for me.
