Publisher's Summary

Thanos' pursuit of the Infinity Gems has always defined him. But when the Marvel heroes defeat him once again, Thanos' beloved Mistress Death grants him one final chance.

Stripped of his powers and his old skin, Thanos embarks on a cosmic walkabout to reassert his power over himself and the Multiverse. Haunted by family - or the semblances of it - the Mad Titan may become something else entirely. Will he maintain his illusions of grandeur, or is this a new path for a lost god?

This original tale explores the inner life of one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel universe.

Great

Great book all around I love how they brought the real Thanos and the other comic book hero’s in to the book. Hope there will be more like this

I shedded a tear.

One of the best adaptations of the Mad Titan and his disfunctinal relationship with Death.

Background Noise detracts from story & performance

Though not as well written as the Barry Lyga Thanos book, the story is still entertaining. As someone else mentioned, it is more in line with the older comic book Thanos, and his obsession with Mistress Death (which I was hoping would play more in MCU's Endgame, but glad it at least made an appearance here). However, as another mentioned, the background / ambient noise can be very distracting, and much too loud for the dialogue. I had to constantly adjust the volume in order to hear dialogue, or decrease battle noise. Some of the deaths were overacted/melodramatic, which I find annoying. Overall, it's ok if you can get past the sound design.

A different take on Thanos

Great acting. Mind bending concepts. Big budget effects. Explores Thanos's character to a depth I'm not sure is possible in a comic.
