What You’ll Learn
This course includes Lessons 16-20 from the Thai Level 1 program featuring 2.5 hours of language instruction. Each lesson provides 30 minutes of spoken language practice, with an introductory conversation, and new vocabulary and structures. Detailed instructions enable you to understand and participate in the conversation. Practice for vocabulary introduced in previous lessons is included in each lesson. The emphasis is on pronunciation and comprehension, and on learning to speak Thai.

I love learning a foreign language using the Pimsleur method. This is my third language using Pimsleur. First was Mandarin Chinese, the Italian and now Thai. Thai is the most difficult, but it is coming along, I plan to retire in Thailand so speaking the language is very important.

Last year was 2 weeks in Thailand. I thought Thai was impossible to grasp. I've learned maybe 10 words. This year 3 months before visiting Thailand i started listening to lessons units 1 to 20. I was able to communicate on very basic level even with some native thais who didn't understand english at all. Next year i'll take lessons 20 to 40:) Also after taking 3 months lessons i was able to learn much more new words in Thailand than first time. Your ears get used to Thai language melody.
