Publisher's Summary

James had plans for his life. Those plans were derailed by the surprise arrival of his daughter. His life revolved around her. Then, she arrived with her beautiful brown hair that was made to wrap around his wrist and a butt that was to die for in a tight pair of jeans. Nevertheless, he didn't need any more drama in his life. Yet, there was something about her that soothed his soul.

Shiloh's made it her life's mission to protect the innocent children she can from the big, bad, scary things that lurk in the darkness. She has an innate curiosity for life and craves knowledge. Which is why when she starts poking around in her father's business, she inadvertently starts something in to motion that threatens her very existence. Her father, the one man that was always supposed to be there for her, drops her off with a brother she never knew she had and leaves.

Then, she meets him, and she doesn't think her life's so bad after all. The sexy biker turned SWAT officer sets her nerve cells to igniting, and she relishes in every single second of it.

He knew life could change in an instant. One soul crushing instant.

Contains mature themes.

Everything was great. Except Stephanie rose.

Stephanie rose needs to STOP narrating books. She is HORRIBLE. most of the time I have to skip her chapter. Her voice is like nails ona chalk board. STOP HIRING STEPHANIE ROSE!

**spoilers**
One thing that annoys me about this book and other LLV books is how other characters treat the main ones. Cheyenne and Sam trying to split them up because Cheyenne doesn’t think he needs the stress when trying to win custody? That’s not realistic. If it was, than she is a HORRIBLE character. And Sam is just a douche bag during the entire story. If I had brothers like him and Sebastian, I’d go crazy. Sometimes LLV wants the drama and makes normally good characters HORRIBLE selfish jerks. Seriously, if my siblings ever interfered with my relationships or treated me the way some of her characters treat their family, I wouldn’t have a relationship with them.

It makes me not want to listen to/read those siblings, friends, family members stories.

Terrific series!

I really enjoy the characters in this book and series! I like the stories and the way they unfold. There’s drama, which is so realistic and true to life, also goodness, love and humor. Very good narration.

Hmmm

I spent a lot of this book being stunned into WTF moments. And not in a good way. The story seems to jump with no smooth changes. The author I have discovered can be hit and miss or maybe it’s bad editing but this book could have been so good but is badly affected by this issue

Wonderful and emotional

Once agai Lani has done a great job of writing an intensely wonderful, funny and sad book. I loved listening to this, I loved James little daughter when she came out with words beyond her years, copied from the men at the garage. out of the mouths of babes so to speak.
James and Shiloh romance is so beautiful I loved what they had together.
The narrators have once more done a great job I findsometings that they do a book so great a justice that when you want to listen to another audio book I sometimes think of their voices lol. I'm addicted to them
