Publisher's summary

The one woman he didn't dare touch.

From the moment Luke Maddox sets eyes on Erin Tyler, he can think of nothing else but laying claim to Rimrock's reigning beauty. But Erin is his boss' daughter, and Luke knows Will Tyler has bigger plans for Erin's future than a rough and tumble ranch hand with a brutal history and a talent for breaking hearts. Still, that can't stop Luke from wanting her.

The one man she shouldn't fall in love with.

As Rimrock Ranch's heir apparent, Erin Tyler is expected to do the right thing, marry the right man, and take the reins of her family's legacy when the time comes. Which is why she's completely shaken by her attraction to her father's latest hire. There's something about the rugged, solitary stranger that calls to her soul. Is restless, independent Erin just feeling the familiar pull of her rebellious heart? Or is there something real happening between her and Luke?

Something worth risking everything for.

Kept my interest

This was not the greatest book I’ve listened too but it was worth the credit. It wasn’t a book I couldn’t wait to get back to but kept me interested to want to listen when I could.

Good series to read or listen to

This was a good series to follow, I enjoyed the story lines and sad that it’s over. This was the saddest book of the series but ends with a happy ending.

Lovely Read

I enjoyed the read, it kept me interested and I pretty much read it straight through. I do wish PA and Jasper hadn't passed but I guess they had their stories, I foreseen them a little further along, oh well. Still the read was great.

Infuriating and disappointing

I took the misogyny in the first books b/c they were set in a time where that was acceptable behavior. Erin was a woman of today and you painted her like a complete freaking dumbass bc with zero ability to use her damn brain. Why? What do you get out of making women so weak? No 19 yr old on the planet would leave without their cellphone today. I’m furious that you made yet another Texas female so freaking stupid and incapable of standing up for herself or those she cares about. I’m also crazy pissed about what happened to her parents.
