About this listen
A voice cries out, stopping Beau and Tess’ wedding. Surprised by this wedding crasher’s announcement, the reverend ends the ceremony. The uninvited guest insists Beau is already married and must come to Las Vegas if he wishes to end their marriage. Beau and Tess reluctantly agree but not before consulting their friends. But they’re not just friends. They are the Initiative, a secret covert operation created to help those in need. The team agrees they must go Vegas with Beau and Tess. Upon their arrival surprises await, and Tess wonders if she’ll ever make it to the altar.
***Tess can be read as a stand alone but is best read after the other books in the series.

Flashbacks...
There were too many flashbacks for me. I thought this was a standalone, but, I felt that I needed to find the original story and then read them in sequential order. The narration was okay and the story reminded me of a Lifetime movie.
