Her husband is suspected of bad business practices, leaving her in a lurch. She is not safe, and there are unanswered questions. Jason, her stepbrother is back in town undercover and investigating the case, and the two cannot escape their history. The two were romantically linked when they were teenagers, and the pull between them is still there. But will they get to the bottom of her husband's plot? Will Jason blow his cover to keep her safe? This story has so much in it! It's short, concise, well developed and so much fun! I had a blast getting to know TJ and Jason. The two have such great chemistry and yet I can feel a push pull til the end! The parents are an addition that is so good, with TJ's dad and his protectiveness, and Jason's mom fighting dementia. There is compassion, love, forgiveness and second chances all wrapped up with a thrill of suspense and mystery. The perfect listen for my afternoon.

Alicia Corts is a new to me narrator and I loved her performance. Great pacing and a variety of voices had me enveloped into the story waiting to see where our heroes would end up. It's fast, fun and a good interpretation of the story.

Great Suspense!

Jacquie Biggar stunned me with this book. I did not see the twists coming in Tempted by Mr. Wrong. I wasn't sure if this book was going to be taboo or not. Tammy and Jason are the main focus in this book. They are step-siblings, but not related. The author wrote their relationship with great care, and it really made me want them to work things out with their second chance. This book has so many levels its hard to summarize, other than I loved it! Alicia Corts brought the characters to life. She added to the chemistry the characters had. I definitely will listen to more books by this author and narrator.

A wonderful story of star-crossed love and second chances, Tempted by Mr. Wrong stole my heart, and the sexual tension and sizzling romance compounded by a murder mystery, kept me reading.

Hawthorne—tried to keep her passion at bay, but Jason’s sapphire eyes melted her heart…which made life more difficult since she was the number one suspect for her husband‘s murder. I love a good romantic suspense and author, Jacquie Biggar, hit this one out of the park with all the ingredients to keep me laughing, feeling the heat of TJ’s desire, and on the edge of my seat unraveling the mystery.

If you’re searching for an easy read with the perfect mixture of romance, heat, and page-turning suspense, don’t hesitate to grab Tempted by Mr. Wrong! I highly recommend this five-star read!
